Churn rate measures the share of customers or recurring revenue lost during a period.

Churn rate measures the percentage of customers, subscriptions, or recurring revenue lost during a period. In SaaS, it is usually reviewed as customer churn, revenue churn, or gross logo churn.

Churn feeds directly into gross revenue retention and net revenue retention. Use churn with SaaS GRR benchmarks to separate retention quality from expansion.
