Why we use it: Usage analytics that help us improve calculator accuracy and user flows.

Data processed: Page views, events (button clicks, calculation submissions), approximate location (country-level). IP addresses are truncated before storage.

Retention: Aggregated reports retained for 26 months.

Why we use it: Anonymized session analytics to understand form complexity and improve UX.

Data processed: Mouse movement, scroll depth, and interaction heatmaps. No keystroke data from calculator inputs is stored.

Retention: Recordings retained for 30 days, aggregated metrics for 13 months.

5. Data retention & security

Cookie data is reviewed quarterly to remove entries we no longer need.
All analytics reports are aggregated. We do not create profiles or track individual user journeys across websites.
If we introduce new calculators requiring additional cookies, we will conduct a Data Protection Impact Assessment before launch.
